Q: Why is it called Ferrium?
A: The origional FreeSpace 1/2 engine didn't have a name, so I began to abbreviate it FE (FreeSpace Engine). Eventually when I had the idea for Ferrium I started abbreviating it FE2, but I also needed a "Friendly name for it". So I was thinking about a name and it hit me "Fe" is the atomic symbol for Iron, because in latin it's 'Ferris'/'Ferrium' (effectively interchangable). If my memory of chemistry serves (which it may not) two Iron atoms are commonly bonded togeather in the wild, or as they would abbreviate in chemistry Fe2 [Note: my chemistry memory _didn't_ serve.. so sue me for not having chemistry in 7 years]

Q: How modable will it be?
A: It will be designed from the outset to be as moddable as possible. Hopefully We will be able to make it so that it's almost a mutator system like Unreal Tournament.

Q: What kinds of Multiplayer Support will it have?
A: We hope to have Cooperative, Cooperative Campaign, Team vs Team, Dog Fight. TvT play will hopefully include a Squadwar-like system.
